Health Referral Services

ICDS

To provide health services to women in need of special medical care, Referral Slips are to be provided in each Anganwadi Centre to PHC or CHC.

Beneficiaries with referral slips are to be attended to on priority at health centre

Scholarship for bravery awardees and Children’s day celebrations

Hoysala and Keladi Chennamma award

Bravery awards to children in the age group of 6-15 years who have shown exemplary courage in saving the life of others. Two boys from each district are identified under Hoysala Award and two girls are identified under Keladi Chennamma Award.Cash prize of Rs. 10000/ and citation will be given to each awardee in addition scholarship Rs 2000/ will be given every year till they complete their school education.

Prevention of trafficking of women and children

Scheme for the Prevention of trafficking of women and children

The objective of the scheme is to create awareness at the district, taluk and village levels regarding trafficking in women and children. Anti-trafficking Committees have been constituted at district, taluk and gram panchayath level to take necessary measures for prevention, rescue, care protection and rehabilitation to the victims of trafficking. In order to sensitize the committees regarding the issue of trafficking at the grass root level training programmes are conducted to create awareness among the members at taluk and gram panchayath level. Awareness programmes through jathas, rallies, street plays etc. are organised at taluk level for the general public.
