On 26.04.2010 two unidentified  people came to Bhumika’s Farm House at about 7.00 O Clock in the evening, on the pretext of asking for  water for their  heated radiator of the  car.  When her father had just been out,  4-5 dacoits entered the house with lethal weapons and threatened the family members of   dire consequences if they made any fuss about it.  They pushed them into a room and locked  from outside.  Then the  dacoits disconnected  the telephone line  also.  Using mobile torch they searched the entire house holding Bhumika at gun point, they    looted  cash and valuable items.Though Bhumika was under great pressure for  2-3 hours, she kept cool and narrated the incident of her father who met with an accident recently and  how they had to spend  borrowing a huge money for the surgery and pleaded not to harm her  family members.  The pleading for mercy aroused  sympathy among the dacoits and they left the house with the booty.  The girls presence of mind and display of courage in the face of  great danger  helped to save the life of the family members.
