Child Line

Child Help line is a 24X7 emergency phone outreach services for children in need of care and protection, linking them to emergency and long term care and rehabilitation services. This service can be accessed by a child in difficulty or an adult on his behalf by dialing 1098. This programme was  launched by  GOI in 1999 and  Child Help Line services are set up in 20 districts in the State.  The Child Line India Foundation (CIF), Mumbai is a mother organization established by GOI as the National level agency to initiate and monitor the performances of child line services in cities and districts across the Country. 

Child Help Line services are available in Mangalore(Dakshina Kannada), Bangalore, Gulbarga, Bidar, Dharwad, Davangere, Mysore, Shimoga, Mandya, Bellary, Raichur, Kolar, Hassan, Koppal, Kodagu, Tumkur, Belgaum, Bijapur, Chamarajnagar and Bagalkot.
